V okolí Lago di Garda mají ferraty zcela odlišný charakter než ty, které jsou v Dolomitech. Hory jsou zde sice dost ostré, ale trochu jiným způsobem. Navíc je zde všudypřítomná zeleň (nebo jak říkají horolezci zelenina), díky čemuž vypadají hory snáze lezitelné.
