If you've played Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2) or American Truck Simulator (ATS) before, you are probably aware of the "Route Advisor", the little dashboard that appears on the left or right-hand side of the screen that shows you your GPS, along with cargo and truck information. The Mobile Route Advisor is a skin for Funbit's ETS2 telemetry You can add a satnav to any truck, but not all of them have a built-in satnav system uset r_multimon_mode "2". This screen shot shows the position of my gps.. if your monitors angled are like mine, the pic will look right if at full screen. 1) Create a 64x64 transparent texture. Export it as DXT5 named player.dds. 2) Pack it up as follows.. material folder > ui folder > map folder > player.dds texture. Zip it up named "My invisible map marker" or something and put it in your mods folder. Enable it in game through the mod manager and away you go. I just found a mod that enlarges the speed limit on the truck's dashboard GPS. That is, making it easier to read, not a higher speed :) This mod simulates your in-vehicle navigation screen to Google Maps Navigation. Colors, player arrows, and map icons have been changed. The position of the speed limit has also been changed. (to the upper right corner) Your GPS navigation screen will look more realistic now. I use a VIVE, but have been using a monitor recently as the GPS has moved to dead center of the screen. In many areas, the speed limit posted in the GPS does not match the speed limit posted in signs on the road, and in many areas that have cameras, the fine is being levied for doing over the speed limit posted in the GPS, not for going over the speed limit posted on the road. For driving I use the standing only calibration rather then roomscale. Overall SteamVR is a bit wonky in general though. Sometimes I have to close a game and restart it holding the headset in a different position to compensate. Then you can fine tune head and seat position in the truck itself by hitting F4 twice. Im plainng in BeamNG.drive and there gyr works like real Steering wheel (dublicate your movement ) but here you need always balance to take midle range (when you put gamepad on default position Truck wheell will not take it).
